  Building rustic furniture is a folk art that has withstood the test of time. When you attend one of the Rustic Workshops you will learn about:

• proper wood selection
• basic furniture design
• secure joint construction
• wood bending techniques
• wood curing and surface finishes

The workshops will be led by Kim Embretson. He has fifteen years of experience in willow  furniture construction. Willow in the Wind will provide all the tools and supplies necessary to complete your workshop project.

Make a Rustic Side Table

      You choose from:

Small 12"X12"X21"        $50

Medium 12"X24"X21"    $75

Large 24"X24"X21"      $100

 Workshop fee includes: instruction, wood materials to make one table, use of tools and fastening devices.

Class size is limited to five students or couples.

Dates:

Make a Rustic Chair

       Bent Arm Willow Chair             $150

Workshop fee includes: instruction, wood materials to make one chair, use of tools and fastening devices.

Class size is limited to three students or couples.

Do you have a plan for a rustic project of your own?

Set up an appointment to create a private workshop so you can be part of the planning and construction. Kim will work with you to help you collect the materials, and  assemble your project.  Workshop fees will vary with complexity of project.
